As a fellow female INTJ, I’ve have had friends and coworkers baffled by my responses and style of handling life. The word “unflappable” comes up frequently as a descriptor in conversation and performance reviews because I don’t emotionally react outwardly in positive or negative ways. 😐 is exactly how I move through the world.

I too prefer observation during group discussions but have encountered more than once a coworker who has assumed my silence indicated agreement with everything they were saying only to be surprised I disagreed once I added my input.
